This ACCWing VIP Ferry is a result with the Cooperation with ACCWing. These wings skins are made of sail fabrics and composite components, incorporating carbon cambers giving it its wing shape. ACCWing is lightweight, flexible and stowable with relative simplicity of design. When lowered, its wind resistance is very low.

 

By accentuating the camber to its maximum, the lift is up to 2.5 times that of a conventional rig of the same surface.

With an ACCWing a boat points very high into the wind, up to 25° from the true wind. Tacking is easy, as the wing is balanced around its mast, similar to a rudder blade. The loads on the sheet or internal wing rotation mechanism are minimal.

If no wind the electric drive takes over, powered by batteries charged with solar cells and/or hydogen fuelcells.
